Planning guide
How many kids can play at a game truck party?
Short answer
Up to 28 kids can play at once in one Vegas Gamerz trailer — about 20 inside on stadium seating and 8 more at the outdoor stations — and up to 56 if you book both trailers.
Twenty-eight is a ceiling rather than a fixed number, because it depends on what is being played: a four-player game puts four on one screen, a head-to-head game puts two and a single-player title puts one. The Game Coach picks games to keep as many hands on controllers as possible and rotates whoever is waiting.
Key takeaways
- Up to 28 at once per trailer, across eight 4K stations inside and out.
- How many play at the same moment depends on the games.
- Bigger guest lists rotate — that is the Game Coach’s job.
- Both trailers put up to 56 players on 16 screens, with a coach in each.
- The price is per booking, so a full trailer is the cheapest per guest.
Why 28 is a ceiling, not a promise
The trailer has eight 4K stations, inside and outside under the awning, with cushioned stadium seating for about twenty indoors. How many guests hold a controller at any moment depends on the games: party and racing games that take four players a screen fill the trailer; head-to-head and single-player games take fewer.
The Game Coach manages that continuously — choosing games that keep the most people playing and rotating whoever has been waiting. It is the difference between everyone playing and half the party standing on the driveway.
Guest lists bigger than 28
| Guests | What usually works |
|---|---|
| Up to 28 | One trailer — everyone can be playing at once. |
| 29 to 56 | One trailer with the Game Coach rotating players, or both trailers so everyone plays together. |
| More than 56 | Both trailers, rotating — the usual setup for schools, HOA community days and company events. |
Rotation works because the coach keeps track of who has not had a turn. For a crowd that stays above 28 the whole time, a second trailer is the cleaner answer.
Booking both trailers
We run two 32-foot trailers with the same equipment in each. Together they put up to 56 players on 16 screens, each with its own trained Game Coach, at the same rate per trailer: $700 on a weekday or $800 at a weekend for two hours.
To book both, make two bookings for the same time on the same day on the booking calendar. The calendar is also the availability check — if the slot is still offered after your first booking, the second trailer is free.
Helping everyone get a turn
- Ask guests to arrive 30 minutes to an hour before the start time, so everyone has eaten and is ready when the doors open.
- Tell the Game Coach about the group at the start — ages, any games to avoid, anyone who has never played.
- Keep food outside. It saves time and keeps the seating clear.
